Supercept ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you visit our website and interact with our services.
Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including:
Automatically Collected Information:
We may automatically collect information when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and date/time of access. We use cookies and similar technologies to collect this information.
How We Use Your Information
We may use your personal information for the following purposes:
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your personal information with:
Sending information overseas
Some of our service providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. For example, Microsoft stores Clarity data in its cloud, including in the United States. Other providers we use, such as HubSpot, Google and Calendly, may also store information overseas.
Data Security
We implement robust security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, and we recommend you take your own precautions.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time (see below).
Your Rights
You have rights regarding your personal data, including:
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@supercept.ai
Cookies
We use cookies to enhance your website experience. Cookies help us understand site usage, optimize content, and improve user interaction. You can disable cookies through your browser, but this may impact your experience. Some of these cookies come from the session recording tool we use, which is explained in the next section.
Session recordings and heatmaps (Microsoft Clarity)
We use Microsoft Clarity, a service from Microsoft Corporation, to see how people use our website so we can improve it. Clarity records how you interact with our pages, such as mouse movements, clicks, taps, scrolling and the pages you view, along with the page content you see. We use this to build session recordings (a replay of a visit, not a video of you or your screen) and heatmaps. Clarity also collects technical details such as your device, browser and operating system, your approximate location based on your IP address, and the page that referred you.
Clarity hides what you type into form fields and drop-down menus. We have also set it to hide our beta application form and our booking page, so the details you enter there are not sent to Clarity.
Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies. Two are set on our site (called _clck and _clsk) and they recognise your browser and join your page views into one visit. Microsoft also sets its own cookies (CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, MR and SM). Microsoft says MUID is used for advertising, site analytics and other operational purposes. If you block cookies in your browser, Clarity does not set them. Microsoft requires consent before Clarity sets cookies for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. We do not currently show a cookie banner, so Clarity does not set cookies for visitors in those regions, and each of their page views is treated as a separate visit.
Microsoft collects this information as an independent controller, not on our behalf. That means Microsoft decides how it uses the information it collects, under the Microsoft Privacy Statement (https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement), and this can include creating user profiles for advertising. We do not control what Microsoft does with its own data. To ask about information Microsoft holds, use the contact details in its privacy statement.
Microsoft stores Clarity data in its cloud, including in data centres in the United States, so your information may be sent outside Australia. Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days, and keeps heatmaps and a selection of recordings (ones we save as favourites and a random sample) for up to 9 months.
You can opt out. Turn on Global Privacy Control in a browser that supports it, which Clarity supports, or opt out of Microsoft through the Digital Advertising Alliance's tool (choose Microsoft): https://optout.aboutads.info/. Clarity does not respond to Do Not Track signals. If you have questions or want to talk to us about your information, contact us at privacy@supercept.ai.
